Clothes can be made of the most diverse materials. Besides the traditional collection Buchholz offers a completely new line for 2010: Bio clothing - ecological cotton.
In the production of Bio-ecological cotton, processes such as bleaching, bleaching and fixing of the cloth are achieved with plant material where possible. For example cultivation of organic cotton is bleached with hydrogen peroxide instead of chlorine. Also the colours we use are organic where possible.
To shrink material we do not treat them with synthetic resins, but they are mechanically pre-shrunk.
Organic cotton is grown without using chemical pesticides. Chemical pesticides are the cause of soil depletion, soil erosion, air and surface water contamination, skin diseases and allergies.
